I am ending the day feeling like I ate too much. My dinner was raw greens, steamed broccoli, mushrooms and homemade beet hummus. I also grilled some green cabbage. How weird is that? The crispy, smokey cabbage was so good. I kept eating it even though it wasn’t even for tonights dinner. Since I didn’t weigh anything, I have no idea how much I ate. I think I had 3/4 cup hummus. My fullness kicks in about 20 minutes after I leave the dinner table. I need some unit of measurement to keep myself from overeating. Either it’s one plate or bowl or so many ounces. I felt in control until I tasted the cabbage. When I start my meals I have a pretty good idea how much is going to be enough. Tomorrow I am going to trust in my own judgement.
