This group discussion forum is for those who are doing their 6 Week Nutritarian Challenge Sunday, August 27th through Saturday, October. Post pictures, share links, progress, encouragement, etc. @veganvieira @tkane @debbie @kim @veggielover

The “6 week plan” is laid out in Eat to Live by Dr. Joel Fuhrman on pages 208-223. Recipe inspiration in the book can be found on pages 239-248 If you don’t have the book, don’t worry. You can still do this!

For a general shopping list for the 6 week plan foods, click here: https://nutribabenation.lovechard.com/6-week-plan-general-grocery-list/

For a reference daily nutrition goals checklist, download and print the link below for your fridge. For a more “strict” [I hate that word!] 6 week challenge, omit OR limit the “optional” items at the bottom: https://nutribabenation.lovechard.com/dailygoals/

The “off limit” items for Dr. Fuhrman’s 6 week plan are: dairy, animal products, eggs, snacking in between meals, fruit juices, refined sugar, refined/processed/bleached flours, and oils.

Really load up on the unlimited items:
      – All non-starchy vegetables, raw or cooked
      – All green vegetables, especially leafy greens
      – Beans, lentils, sprouts
      – Fresh fruit [not dried]
[When I did my 100 Day Challenge, salad, smoothies, and soups were my JAM.]

Feel free to post in the Participants Topic in the challenge forum and share how you’re feeling about diving in and what one or a few of your goals are for this challenge. Click here: https://nutribabenation.lovechard.com/forums/forum/6-week-challenge-827-107/

Good luck, and I’ll be checking in!

PS: We will be doing a hosted/guided group 6 week challenge this fall… Maybe back-to-back with this one. 🙂

Thank you. Your video defiantly helped me as my will power was weakening at day’s end. I like to make a starch dish every week, but make 1/3rd if it veg and a 1/3rd beans. It feels like I’m having a giant portion of starch, but it’s mostly the best stuff. Sometimes a half cup or whole cup of starch can be that treat that keeps me strong. On days I don’t need I don’t eat it. Maybe for the fall challenge I’ll try and limit it more, if I don’t lose weight keeping it in.
