Who likes to exercise/be outdoors and active? Let’s talk about what we love to do, motivate each other, and how to fuel these things with a wfpb diet! Today I got out for a 10 mile run and used whole dates as my fuel on the trail. Yum, and sooo much better than processed gels in my opinion 😀

For sure, Brianna! My activity could always do some improvement. Currently, I’ve been getting around 10-15k steps a day walking and listening to podcasts about anything from membership training, fantasy football, nutrition, other business, self improvement, or how to properly take care of that lump of fur and cat nip named Tomato. 😉
I really like to get out and hike or play rec sports like frisbee golf or regular golf. Need to do more to get my heart pumping! I think I need to show Mrs. Love Chard racketball. She already loves tennis.

I love yoga! Rolling out my mat and connecting to my breath each day feels so good! My favorite (online) yoga teacher is Adriene from Yoga With Adriene! She has a lot of free practices on YouTube and a membership site too! She is so funny and such an uplifting teacher!! 😉
I also love walking (gotta get back into to.) I love walking to Soul Strolls by Erin Stutland.
And I also love Shrink Sessions (cardio workouts that combine dance, yoga, pilates, cardio and more.) They are super fun. She includes affirmations with the movement – super cool!
The best thing we can do is move our bodies with love! <3

Bethany and I did a session of PiYo [pilates/yoga] that kicked my butt recently.
What is Soul Strolls? A Pod?

Hi! Soul Strolls are similar to a podcast. After purchase it can either be streamed on your phone or downloaded as a MP3 file. They are super fun and include upbeat music and uplifting words from Erin to inspire your walk/stroll! Many people even use them to run too! Hope this helps! 🙂

Oh I love both yoga and Piyo! I don’t do either near as much as I want to, especially in the summer when the outdoors are calling. But, I really want to try to make it a more regular part of my life 🙂

Stephanie, do you do a class or do a circuit on your own? I’ve heard HIIT is awesome!

I’ve been neglecting my exercise lately but I got a new Fitbit on Tuesday and I have made a commitment to do at least 10,000 steps a day! Day 1 down!

I love being in the ocean or the pool. I have just started running again, with a goal of completion of a 10k in the winter or spring this year. We also hit the gym 6 days a week for weightlifting, functional movement, and cardio.

That’s awesome, Lisa! What an accomplishment! Good luck training for your 10k… that’s an amazing goal to look forward to. 😉

Yoga, walking (treadmill and with the dog), and lifting when my body allows. I was a runner in middle and high schools (track and field ftw) and would love to have a quarter of that energy back.

I think you’re going to be surprised at the amount of energy that comes back with a little hard work that I know you’re putting in. Take things as they come and keep improving every day. 😉

I live in the desert and tend to hibernate for 5 months of the year. But, I can’t wait to get outside and at the least walk the dog!
I used to work with a personal trainer doing cardio, weights, HIIT…I had amazing results. I also ran numerous 5/10ks and a half marathon. Unfortunately, time and finances don’t allow for that right now, and sadly I’m poorly motivated on my own. But, I should charge my Fitbit and join the 10k a day step commitment!

10k steps a day is a great and easy commitment with a little time. It’ll put a smile on your face every time the counter hits 5 digits and get you excited about hitting that number the next day. Keep us posted on your experiences! I bet there are some cool places to walk around in your area. Would love to see some pics!

Does anyone have a Fitbit, and if so do they like it?
