These wraps are easy, can be prepared ahead of time, and taste delish! The contrast between sweet, crunchy, and juicy from the fruit against the romaine is truly invigorating. These babies are great for breakfast or even as a dessert!
Wash and dry romaine lettuce.
Mix nut butter, date paste, cinnamon, and vanilla together. Add ground flax seeds and or cocoa powder as well if you are using. Mix well. Spread an equal amount down the center on all three romaine leafs.
Add banana slices and berries (if using) to each romaine leaf.
Gently roll up (like a hot dog, or should I say a whole food plant-based carrot dog).
Enjoy!!
*Date Paste recipe is in THIS EBOOK.
Basically, soak 1 cup medjool dates with 3/4 cup water for 10 minutes to an hour depending on how powerful your blender is. Blend on high for 1-2 minutes until smooth! Store in fridge for 6 days.
