Growing up, my mom used to make a "Fruit Sauce" whenever we had a family get together. It was heavenly. We loved it.
Smooth, creamy, sweet, tangy, with hints of vanilla.
Little did I know the ingredients (and I am not kidding) were sugar, heavy cream, sour cream, brandy, and vanilla.
No thank you and never again!! I let go of this dip years ago.
A few days ago, I randomly had an urge to dip my fruit in something. Thanks to Nutritarian Sour Cream and some plant magic, the dip is back and better than ever! All it takes is some blending 😉

Make a batch of Nutritarian Sour Cream. Remove 1 1/2 cups and put in the fridge for other recipes (this will leave you 1 cup for this recipe)! Yay extras!
Blend all ingredients until super smooth 🙂
Dip your favorite fruit <3 I love any kind of berry, apple, banana, watermelon, pineapple, grapes... pretty much all fruit!
*Soak dates for 10-30 minutes in water if you do not have a Vitamix or NutriBullet
**Substitute another banana for 4 dates if you want less dried fruit
***Makes about 2 cups that will last 6 days in the fridge in an air tight container

This looks amazing. I will have to try it. I am new so I haven’t even made the nutritarian sour cream yet! I better get busy!
