Spicy Garlic Broccoli

 2 ½ cups chopped Broccoli
 ½ tsp Garlic Powder
 ½ tsp Lemon Juice
 Pinch of Mustard Powder [see notes as to why this is necessary]
 Red Pepper Flakes to taste

Place 1 inch of water in a large pot. Place a steaming basket inside the pot. Bring to a boil. Add broccoli and cover.

Cook for 5 minutes or until tender but still crisp.

Pour into a strainer and run under cold water until the broccoli stops steaming [this locks in the beautiful bright green color and stops the cooking]. Toss with remaining ingredients!

Alternatively, if you do not have a steaming basket, you can pour boiling water over a large bowl of broccoli [cover completely] and it them sit for 8 minutes. Strain and run under cold water.
